The course is ideal for owners, walkers, sitters, trainers etc. It aims to give the most up-to-date and scientifically based information on dog first aid.

Date: Saturday 14th January 2023
Time: 10am start (tea/coffee and biscuits available from 9.30am)
Venue: Farm buildings adjacent to the dog field
Lasts approximately 3 hours
Cost: £40 per person

We need a minimum of 14 people to run the course. If we do not acquire this number, a full refund will be given and there is no cancellation fee. We will cancel 2 weeks prior to the date if we do not have 14 people.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided before and after the course runs.

The course offers:
• Techniques taught by a veterinary professional
• Replica dogs to practice bandaging
• A 'resusci-dog' to practise canine CPR
• Samples of first aid equipment to practice with
• A booklet to take home
• Certificate of attendance

First aid course and booklet covers: road-traffic accident. electrocution, chemical and ingested poisoning, animal fight, drowning, heatstroke, health signs, limbs, wounds, burns, bleeding, skin conditions, respiratory problems. resuscitation, stomach conditions, epilepsy, eye injury.
